Leading from the start.
At TEA, student leadership is embedded into the fabric of school life. From Year 5 to Sixth Form, students are given meaningful opportunities to lead, represent, and make a genuine difference.
Leadership Roles.
Head Boy and Head Girl
The most senior student leadership positions, representing the school at events and liaising with the senior leadership team.
Deputy Head Students
Supporting the Head Boy and Head Girl in leading school initiatives and serving as role models for younger students.
House Captains
Each of our four houses is led by elected captains who organise inter-house events, competitions, and community activities.
Student Council Representatives
Every form group from Year 5 upwards elects a representative to the Student Council, which meets fortnightly.
Sixth Form Mentors
Sixth Form students volunteer as academic and pastoral mentors for younger students, building leadership skills.
Prefect Body
Year 12 and 13 students are selected as prefects, taking on responsibilities across the school including event organisation.
What leadership means at TEA.
Responsibility
Student leaders take ownership of real responsibilities that shape the school experience for everyone.
Voice
We believe students should have a genuine say in their school. Our Student Council ensures ideas are heard and acted upon.
Service
Leadership at TEA is rooted in service to others, not status. We develop leaders who lead by example.
Growth
Every leadership role develops skills in communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and decision-making.
